Entertainment during The pandemic crisis is on everyone’s mind during this global pandemic alert that hit the world in early 2020. Our free lifestyles have come to an end. Now we have been forced to quarantine ourselves, or we have volunteered to quarantine ourselves, to help keep down the spread of an airborne disease for which there is no cure at this time. Staying healthy is now our number-one goal.
When everyone is forced to stay at home for health reasons, that picture is not a pretty one. We have been going about our business freely all our lives. And all of a sudden, we have to resort to staying home. It’s acceptable for a little while because we have no other choice, but “it stinks.”. We have no freedom all of a sudden.
Entertainment During Pandemic Crisis
Our jobs have shut down, which means husband and wife are home. Schools are closed, which means kids are home all day long. This has never happened before. Now, what will everyone do? The answer is that the husband will catch up on the things he has put aside because he has been working. Wives, you don’t have a problem; there are kids that have to be taken care of. Kids, here is a problem: they are not in the habit of having to stay inside. not being able to run around outside and burn off that excess energy. Finding a way to keep them busy is a job in itself.
There is an answer for everyone. Remember the things you have to do to stay safe during this crisis. Disinfect everything often, and wash hands with a good germicidal soap. Use hand moisturizer, bleach, and whatever it takes to disinfect your surroundings.

We are all at a loss for some activity to keep us entertained, so we will explore some of the types of entertainment for everyone.
For Kids Ages 4–12
- During the summer, there are summer reading programs at the library. Check your kid in to get good books to read.
- Join the national campaign to read 1,000 books before they start kindergarten
- Get movie popcorn and have movie time.
- Get new Legos to have Lego time for building things
- Teach them how to make ice cream and custard for their snack time
- Have a campout in the backyard. Set up tents, get flashlights, sleeping bags, and board games, and have fun with them.
- Practice the alphabet with the small ones.
Teenagers
Most teens are using their phones to keep in touch with their friends and surf the internet. They love playing video games on the internet and chatting. Some people spend a lot of time on social media. But some of the time they should be reading books, some for pleasure and some for education.
