Our Wine and Dine was a blast on Wednesday, October 23, 2019. Cooks for the night were Matty Vines and Rory Ricord, our Grand Guru and Head of the Performance Blogging System Family. Our main dish was Italian ramen with beef. We had a lot of fun with Matty, Rory, and Pricilla as they entertained us with their humor.
Matty Vines was the cook. He chose a recipe in his Ramen Series called “Italian Ramen Skillet Recipe.”. It looked so delicious, and we served it with a red wine from our Wine of the Month Club that was delivered straight to his front door. He did not have to leave home to shop for wine.
Now Let’s Get To Cooking Italian Ramen With Beef!
Here are the items we will need to make this recipe real!
Ingredients
- 2 packages of ramen noodles (beef-flavored)
- 24 slices of pepperoni
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 small green bell peppers,
- Basil, garlic (minced), and oregano, Sprinkle to taste
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes; do not drain
- 1 cup of water
Directions
Use a 10-inch skillet to cook the beef and pepperoni over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally and brown, then drain the liquid off of it.
Break the noodle pack in half and set them to the side. Stir in the tomatoes, water, and ramen seasoning packets right into the beef mixture. Heat it until it boils. Stir in noodles and bell peppers. Sprinkle with basil, garlic (minced), and oregano.
Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring often, until the noodles are tender. Add mozzarella cheese on top of it. Cover and let it sit for 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
This was a night of fun, as we learned how to cook this Italian ramen with beef dish. We paired it with a robust Red Wine that made the flavor excel. It was delicious. See more Wine and Dine recipes Here.
